I AM A SWIFTIE!!!!!!!

All fans of Taylor Swift, this is for you. A perfect playlist of all her epic songs, that will remain in your minds forever.

CRAZIER!!!!!......A perfect song if you have fallen in love and feel like going crazy with your partner, soar high in the air and do all mad things that you wish to with the one you love.

And the next one is this song, which is very much enlightening for the teenagers .
" 'Cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you
You're gonna believe them
And when you're fifteen, don't forget to look before you fall
I've found time can heal most anything
And you just might find who you're supposed to be
I didn't know who I was supposed to be at fifteen."

'You're mine'...You might have said this sometime in your life when you really wanted someone and loved him so badly as to write a song about that.Well.......than this one is for you.

'It's a love story,baby just say yes!!!'.....So ....you're in love....and separated from your beloved.Awww....that's tragic

Red.....a very popular favourite among teens.....is quiet a colourful and clever name for a song, profitable to attract listeners. So here's reddddddddddddd.

Another iconical love song by TS...this one is very dreamy and touching. It will surely "enchant" you.

Who wants to ride a white horse?...Well,when this song was launched ,I spent a lot of time memorising it,and when I was done ,I sung it in front of a small batch of friends and won huge applauds and appreciations. So this song is kind of a cherishable memory for me.

Hey...a geeky Swift is in this one......geeky but flawless. And then there is the bad Swift too.Listen to this song with her different shades of characters(reel...not real)

Thats what we call a perfect mourning song for a heartbroken girl.Once said by Oscar Wilde in one of his books ,"LOVE IS GREATER THAN BOTH LIFE AND DEATH"...is what is signified and also, controverted in this song.Listen to it to know it.

"Forever and always"
Its what we hear from every lover, but it is not always the truth. Its not "Forever and Always"...but"Sometime" and "till I get tired".Listen to this one if you feel so.

So this is a playlist showing off Taylor's versatility  and also, her habit of singing love songs. But,in all,its a good entertainer and pass-time for you,and thats what really matters.

I am here and you are not alone...

The Winter of 1924...
A tiny dog, an orphan stood there, with it's white and hazelnut fur glistening in the powdery snow. It was a Japanese Akita - brand new, and lost in a strange snow-covered town. It looked up, it's eyes now gleaming with a plea - 'Just take me home...Please master!' And that was it. Prof. Ueno knew he simply 'had' to take the pup in. Little Hatchiko became the new soul mate of Prof. Ueno. The sleepy town of Shibuya came alive each morning when Hatchi followed his master to the railway station. He raised his paws to play with the Prof., sometimes snatching a parcel of food from his hands. He playfully bid him goodbye and returned sharp at 5 every evening - that's when master's train came back. And then they both walked back home in bliss, savouring each other's company.

1925
Hatchiko was no longer tiny, he was big and strong. But he loved his master with the same intensity, and a child's loyalty, as he had a year ago. So he waited, yet that day was different. Hatchi was sitting at the station as usual, waiting for the 5 o' clock train as usual. 5 o' clock, 6 o' clock and 7. Nighttime was here, where was his master? It turned out, Prof. Ueno died at the University and never made it to the train for Shibuya. He was gone, but Hatchi was here. And who would explain this to him...?

1935
Hatchi was11 now, quite old for a dog. It was cold, the same wintery pallor covered the town as the year he met his master. He was waiting, for over 9 years now. People took note from different parts of Japan, to come to him and give him food while he waited for his dead master to return. Shibuya Station was his home now. Master was in his memories. And he knew master would come back.... And when he did, Hatchi and master would walk back home together...

A few weeks later...
No amount of coaxing could make Hatchi touch his food. His end was near. His greying fur was a sign of his age. He was still waiting, but master did not come. Slowly his lids drooped and he shut his eyes. Forever. He reunited with his master in heaven...he thought back of 1924, as his soul drifted from his body. He left Shibuya forever...

Today
Shibuya is not the same anymore, not its people and not even its railway station. But Hatchi? Oh everyone knows about him... You see, there's a bronze statue built in his memory. It's an homage to the loyalty of the dog. And for he was no ordinary dog, he sometimes watches people cry beside his statue. And he laughs. He's with his master now, he feels no pain... Only bliss...

I strongly recommend that you watch Hatchiko A dog's story today...then tell me if you could ever compare human friendship to a dog's loyalty and companionship...I bet you won't be able to...

A thrilling encounter with mountain monkeys

The Jakhu Temple
It happened a back, when I had gone to Shimla during my summer vacations,to meet an acquaintance and to escape the scorching heat of the northwest. It was the last day of our visit and we all decided to go to the beautiful temple of lord Hanuman-"The Jakhu Temple".It was a pleasant sunny day, with fine breeze blowing in our hair. The way to Jakhu is a long, steep walk.Although vehicles can go through the steep hill, but as the temple was so close to our friend's dwelling,we chose to go on foot, for what is better than a refreshing walk in the peaceful hills.
As we stirred out of the house,we were warned of the naughty little apes in the temple by our concerned friend, but, were also assured of the harmless pranks of the monkeys. So,me and my family,i.e my dad,mom and my big bro, accompanied by the family of another of my dad's friend, set out for the upcoming adventure. We walked from the house to the foothill of the mountain on which the temple is situated, enjoying the chirruping of birds and the rustling of leaves on our way up.
way to  Jakhu temple
On reaching the base,my dad suggested of a little adventure,as the walk had become a little boring and undistinguished, and as we had a zing of getting into something unusual every time we went anywhere. So,he proposed of taking the hilly slopes as a route instead of the plain road that led to the temple. As we were all tired of the monotonous plainy roads,we readily agreed to the proposition. Some of us had  got all our energy exhausted, and so,we hired a car and separated into two groups, one that went by road ,and the other that set out for the hill.
We all were very excited to walk on the steep hill, and were clinging to the underlying rocks for the fear of falling down.My dad and his friend were on the lead, and we kids were strutting along behind them, panting and slipping occasionally.
Just then, the leaders were attacked by mountain monkeys and dogs, who were already on the lookout for some prey.Dad was the only one amongst us who was carrying a few stones for safety purpose, and without wasting any minute,he started pelting the wild animals with them. But  it proved more harmful as the animals  grew furious and tried to pounce upon us.It all made the surprisingly and exceptionally sandy hills, with dried trees look more gruesome .
And then,as we were watching the fight between the elders and the beasts with terrified eyes and gawking expressions,my dad and my uncle,as if driven with some external power, hit them so hard that they started runnig away, and soon, the hills were deserted again, except for our mocking intervention to the peaceful mountain. We all looked at each other for a moment, and then burst into laughter,on seeing our elders bewildered faces.
On reaching the temple,we narrated our little ,but horrifying encounter to the others, who showed mixed feelings of concern, joy and mockery. And when we went back, our adventure was overheard by some people, because of whom, the story featured in the next day's newspaper, which, unfortunately, couldn't be read as we had to leave early, back to he hotter hometown.

It was definitely one of my best travelling experiences, most of which have been observed in Shimla, and which I'll be narrating to you timely.

BOOK REVIEW - TWILIGHT

TURNING PAGE
Yesterday, when I was listening to this mesmerising, melodious song, and was trying my hand at the piano(inspired by dear charmimg Edward),the whole twilight series flashed in my mind in an instant. And as if encouraged to linger on the memory,I began to read the wonderful novel in my mind, imagining each and every scene and swaying away from the real world.A gem of a book,I must say.
Stephenie Meyer has done a wonderful job in portraying creatures as scary and ravenous as vampires angels.I mean, who could have ever thought of 'The Cold Ones' to be gentle and concerning,or even more, to be doctors and lovers.Imagine if your doctor turns out to be a bloodsucker, supposedly trying to suck someone's blood out.And then there is the love triangle,of three entirely different creatures, two of them completely horrandous and one , fragile little human damsel.
The story revolves around Bella,a seventeen year old clumsy girl, who falls in love with two completely hot guys,Jacob(the dark handsome werewolf)and Edward(the pale angelic vampire). This triangle itself suggests the author's immense power of projecting a non-existence world as lightly as if it was something that survives in the reality and surrounds us.I would be really glad to meet a charming prince like Edward , even it were a vampire, and a werewolf as valiant and sensual as Jacob.
After reading vampire diaries,I was very much convinced of the night wanderers to be completely scary and gholish creatures.Although there was some hint of love and friendship in the story,it mostly reflected upon the dark side of the vampire underworld. And then,on reading "Twilight",all my wrong assumptions were gone and at one time,I actually started believing in it,and wishing to enter into such a beautiful world, with its dark edges too,for no world can exist without it's negative half.
Twilight certainly makes one of my best read,as it touches upon many aspects of human lives, through an entirely different world from ours.It shows the strength of relationships, which, quiet unfortunately, have lost their solid foundations. It tells us of the power of love, which can win over and crack  the hardest of nuts.
It's simply an engaging fantasy novel, strong enough to keep you occupied or a long time and fill your dreams with utter magic and miracles.

THE LMFAO CONNECTION

Listening to LMFAOs Party Rock Anthem (a great workout song) a while back, I had no idea that the song was a part of something bigger. I mean, the hilarious uncle-nephew duo dancing like crazy on an obnoxious tune, in which they declare “Sorry for party rocking!” What the hell was it anyway? It turns out, a giant hit from a ‘hit movie’. I think people tend to forget the song’s connection to the movie 21 Jump Street (a screen adaptation of a 80s sitcom by the same name). I discovered that connection recently. So, I decided to watch the flick that I had long discarded as another stupid ‘guy’ comedy. But now, I have one word to say – “HILARIOUS”!
Starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill as two miserably ‘underachiever’ cops – the flick is a thundering laugh riot from the very beginning. I love Hill’s performance here. He is really good at the effortless, spur-of-the-moment kind of comedy. What is refreshing is to see Tatum match up to him. Due to their absolute failure at arresting anyone, and in general cop duty as well, they are transferred to the sleepy town of 21 Jump St. They go undercover as high school students to infiltrate a gang of suppliers, dealing in some new potentially dangerous drug called H.F.S., which has already caused a death of one student. What ensues is a trip down memory lane for the two best buddies. Tatum, who is effortlessly good looking, gets sidelined for his ‘cool-dude’ act (and the fact that the students constantly ask him why he looks so ‘old’!). While Hill who wasn’t popular in ‘his’ high school days, becomes one of the gang (despite his awkwardness). It’s a role reversal in this ‘unconventional school’, where the cool kids also dream of attending  good colleges. You see Tatum hanging after school (‘undercover’) with all the uncool chemistry lab geeks, in a completely unknown territory. That was weird and funny!

I don’t think I care for the critics who panned it for poor Hollywood High School drama. And I don’t think you should either. There are a lot of jokes that reflect ‘guy comedy’ flick. But it is still by far the best comedy of last year, even with all the cliques. Watch it for Hill and Tatum’s knockout chemistry and funny anecdotes.

AND THE MOUNTAINS ECHOED

“I found a sad little fairy
Beneath the shade of a paper tree
I know a sad little fairy
Who was blown away by the wind one night”

People are just people. They are instinctive, even incomprehensible. They get caught in a tangled web of relationships and regrettable decisions. And then they always look back and think – ‘surely, if this had not happened, that would not either, and maybe I wouldn’t be here’. At the end of the day, they are all but human. I think it’s a lesson in itself; a reminder of the consequences of all our actions, no matter how big or small. And I think that is what Khaled Hosseini wants us to really see through his new book, ‘And the Mountains echoed’.
Hosseini is a writer who has the exceptional courage to not see ‘his’ world, the way the rest of us do. So when he writes about Afghanistan in the book, there is no pity, only a subtle pride. His women are neither miserly cowards, nor stereotypically fearless. They are just human, women with a past and a heart full of secrets. Even in this book, his honesty and gripping storytelling powers have not diminished one bit. Only this time, he takes you across multiple locales and timelines. It seems like a giant puzzle when you’re in the middle. Central to the plot is the Afghan brother-sister duo, Pari and Abdullah. There is also the Afghan-French poetess Nila Wahdati, Afghan-American cousins Idris and Timur, then the Greek doctor, Markos Varvaris; and even a Jihadist in the story. The more people you come across, the more complex the web gets. And then, when you are ‘finally’ getting used to the randomness of the popping narratives, something magical happens. It all comes together! It’s like unraveling a secret piece-by-piece.

By the end, you have devoured the book and collected all the random pieces of the puzzle, to see the bigger picture. And guess what, because it was none other than Hosseini, you realize you were waiting for this magic to happen all along!

A PERFECT PLAYLIST FOR A RAINY DAY

When the rain is drumming on your windowpanes, the wind outside sweeps your hair all over the place, and your heart fills up with elation....that's when you need music to help you keep company and enjoy the rain. So as your new admin alongside Anjali, I'm gonna take a different route for a little while and give you my suggestion for a nice playlist for you to enjoy...

It's a beautiful soundtrack, even if it's a bit aloof. But go on, scream out your lungs in the middle of a pouring rainfall to remind everyone that you belong outside! it's perfect if you're stuck at home, trying to enjoy the rains, but can't...

There's nothing like an old school classic to beat the mood. B.J. Thomas with Raindrops keep falling on My Head clinches the glory. It's a sweet, foot-tapping old charmer!

This song has been a rainy day's staple since Rihanna came out on the pop music scene with her Umbrella-ella-ella....Who hasn't heard it?

Florence Welsh crooning her way to our hearts right now- everyone else STEP OUT OF THE WAY! And damn right she is, I think not only is The Dog days Are Over one of her best tracks, it's perfect for dancing in the rain!

This is such a nice instrumental by Ca'mel....it'll blow you away in the very first time like it did to me!

I somehow liked Taylor's previous musical style. But enough of that. If you want to exaggerate your heartbreak in the rain, this song is perfect. But it's ONLY if you're sad and want to have a good cry!

Showing off her awesome piano skills in this one, Vanessa rocks it out and I don't have to say much!

This is REALLY slow song, the kind that washes over you when you close your eyes. So try it out!

The Fray became one of my favourite bands after this song...And I kid you not, you don't know them until you've heard this. I seem to enjoy it more when it rains, because it's soft and got the piano!

Another heartbreak ballad...This is The Script at its finest. And I love it!

Now that I've told you what i like, how about you tell me what you like. So, do you have something to say to Anjali or me?

BOOK REVIEW - A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS,by Khaled Hosseini

This sensitizing novel by Khaled Hosseini is the second bestseller written by him, after the wonderful book,"The Kite Runner".Touching an immensely sensitive and horrifying issue of the islamic world , this novel has won the praise of many a critics. It talks of the plight of women living in the crowded streets of Afghanistan , who have to bear the dominance of men and be an object of merry-making.Mariam,a 15 yr.old girl has to suffer for her fathers disgraceful act and is married to an old, rusty man of 42 at such a tender age,as her mother kills herself due to depression and tension of her daughters future.Rasheed, her husband, a lusty man of ardent masculine nature, first treats her very fondly and nicely, but soon turns into a monster when she faces grief of losing her child. Like a true, vicious animal,he beats her and makes her life miserable.
The story takes a positive turn when a neighbour of mariam, Farida gets her daughter, Laila married to her love,Tariq and what follows is the beautiful world of love and compassion, where Mariam gets a chance to live and be happy.
I know this is not a very good or proper review, but what can be said about the thousands of emotions expressed descriptively in a novel? A very captivating and enlightening novel,it's sure to take you off your senses.
Happy Reading!!!!

LYRICS OF "NO NEED TO SAY GOODBYE"
from the movie chronicles of narnia-part ii

It started out as a feeling
which then grew into a hope
which then turned into a quiet sound
which then turned into a quiet word
and then that word grew louder and louder
till it was a battle cry

I'll come back, when you call me
No need to say goodbye

Just because everything's changing
doesn't mean that it's never
been this way before
all you can do is try to know who your friends are
as you had,after the war
pick a star on the dark horizon
and fall,louder alike

You'll come back,when it's over
No need to say goodbye
You'll come back,when it's over
No need to say goodbye s s s s s s s

Now we are back to the beginning
It's just a feeling and no one knows yet
But just because they can't feel it too
doesnt mean that you have to forget
Let your memories grow stronger and stronger
Till they're before your eyes

You'll come back ,when I'll call you
No need to say goodbye
You'll come back,when I'll call you
No need to say goodbye

BOOK REVIEW - "INKHEART"
The book of books - INKHEART

The fantasy trilogy "Inkheart" has left a big mark on my mind and my heart, with its mesmerizing creatures and hidden, truly significant lessons. It is a collection of everything you could imagine to be in a book-love,drama,action,irony etc. and that's the reason why it has been made into a film, though with a bit twisting here and there. As the novel starts,it's already grabbing you full attention and giving it's first lesson,i.e. the magic of books.A book talking about books.....that's something unusual, don't you think? And then the fantasizing characters ,ranging from the cruel "Capricorn" and the deadly scary Shadow...well,"The Shadow" to the fire-raiser "Dustfinger" and "Mortimer" who is also called "Silvertongue" because of his power to take out things from books, even people.Cornelia Funke has done a great job in shaping the characters,as it can be evidently observed in her character "Fenoglio",who is the writer of the book Inkheart, around which the story revolves.
The story talks about Mortimer who has the capability of reading things out of books by using his sweet, velvety voice. This power passes on to her dear daughter,Meggie who, like her father, has a great passion for books. It is a mishap of all the things that happen to them when his father unintentionally takes out a terrible and cruel death-lord,Capricorn.
In all, this is an exciting and adventurous story that will keep you captivated till the end.

BOOKS - DIVINE GIFT OF THE ALMIGHTY

Nowadays, books have hardly retained their earlier necessity, with the introduction of the widely spread internet facilities. But,they still have their previous charm. The power to escape into a completely different world can only be granted by these "non-living creations".Books invite only those in their world who know how to read them and feel their essence, and to those who can relate to them, books also whisper their stories.Whenever I read a book,I feel as if I am inside it and actually seeing the red riding hood being pursued by the vicious wolf.Sometimes,I start crying at sorrowful moments as if they were my own.
We can always escape into some mesmerizing world when we feel really sad or forlorn, because these dumb mouths are always welcoming and even happy to give us happiness and some time aside of your busy, stressful lives.
We have always loved and desired for a world that exists only in books. But just imagine yourself sitting  by a single window in a quiet dark room, and from the window is coming a radiant beam of light brightening the whole room. You have a cup of coffee in your hand and "Inkheart" in the other, with your eyes glued to a paragraph giving the description of the "white witches".And then after a few seconds, you scream as if you have just seen three beautiful white witches standing before you.At that time, things like your exam result or your job interview wouldn't come in your mind,The only thing crowding your thoughts would be that what would have happened if Meggie lost Mo forever? If he wouldn't have been able to write the three words in the white book?
So,you see....books have the power to knock you off ground and unbound you from the weight of your endless anxieties.Magical..........aren't they?

THE TENSION OF OPPOSITES

Yesterday I was thinking about the confusion that people often face regarding what they want versus what they need, along with what is expected of them.It is always a bit difficult to fight between what we want do and what we are bound to do.The "tension of opposites" is this tension of the choices a human has to make at all stages of his/her life. For example,a person wants a simple life in a village without the luxuries of the world, and on the other hand, his mom expects you to score well and be highly educated. So the person is pulled between what is wanted and what is expected. He is like lying in the middle of an invisible rubberband and is being pulled from both the sides.Often,he ends up doing what is expected, ruining his life along with other's.As referred in the book "Tuesdays With Morrie",this is indeed a wrestling match, where no one knows which side will win.
Doing the expected deed is not the very best choice. You will never be satisfied with yourself,as it is not something you dreamed of.People often find themselves to be strangers after landing on a site they never thought of.They forget who they are,or were and lead a confused ,materialistic and soulless lives.
Talking about the winning side,I must give you a hint. It's love that always wins. When you love something and you are really crazy about that thing, then no one can stop you from getting it,along with a perfect life.I mean love, and not just a bit of deviation, for it will leave you stranded in the middle of the rubberband, never moving on and never finding an answer.
So,taking it as a route to your dream life, try to seek what you want and not what you think is appropriate according to the world.

The Ideal World - a dream world or reality

What if there was a world of love, with complete absence of hatred and vengeance ? What would have happened if there was peace all around'and no wars to slaughter mankind?Well, as you might have guessed, such a world can exist only in dreams. In fact, all the hatred, corruption and agility is an essential part of the technological world of ours, but within limited extents. You must be thinking that I have gone crazy, but just think it over. How can love exist without hatred? How can peace be established without being blown up by a war?How will people fight for their own good if there is no corrupted authority?I'm sure no one will ever find an answer to these, for the opposites cannot be separated. They always attract, and thus, maintain the balance for survival.
Let's talk about India, for example. What would have happened if the Portuguese did not come to India in search of its infamous wealth of gold?Yes.....you guessed right. Then India would never have had the exposure to the already developing and mechanised world. We might have been living as subjects of large empires right now,and not as free individuals. But,it is also true that the exposure led to Indian exploitation in a brutal way, suggesting that the requirement of the negative sides is within some distinctive limits. The dream world still exists in the hearts of those who have suffered the consequences of crossing such limits. There is still a little paradise with all lovey-dovey people who live together like one happy family in the humans' minds .
But these paradises have there grey sides, because a world cannot be completed without them, which leads us into utter confusion as to believe in which world. The bustling reality or the heavenly dream-world?
